Keep It Moving!
As we have experienced a year of an unexpected lockdown, many have realized the necessity of maintaining physical activity to keep their sanity. Now that we are returning to a state of “normalcy”, we must be resolute to keep focused on both physical and mental health. 3 John 1:2 states that above all things he wishes that we may prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers.
We challenge you to keep moving, and if you have not started, there is no time like the present. For the next three months, the challenge is to engage in physical activity at least three times weekly for a minimum of 30 minutes each time. You will notice a difference, not only in your physical well-being, but your thinking will be sharper, and your outlook will improve.
Our elderly brethren are also encouraged to keep moving. If you have physical restrictions, be sure to consult with your healthcare provider before engaging in any physical activity. Once clearance has been received, take it slow but intentional. With the right amount of physical activity, you will move your way to good health. A little will go a long way, so keep it moving!
